FRAME x FRAME A Cinematography Masterclass with Jan Kenny – Hobart & Launceston
There are many creative choices that are made when shooting a film that can change or affect the overall telling of the story. The ‘Frame x Frame’ seminars will consist of the screening and review of selected scenes from the films “Road to Perdition” (DOP - Conrad Hall ASC, Director - Sam Mendes) and “The Conformist” (DOP -Vittoria Storaro,
Director - Bernardo Bertolucci).
Participants will be invited to get involved in the discussion and explore the creative visual choices that were made in the films, and discuss their relevance to the overall
storytelling.
It is recommended that participants view both these films prior to the session, however it is not essential.
