SPAA matches ADG with viral promo

[Tue 09/09/2008 07:15:03]

SPAA Fringe has released an amusing viral video to promote their upcoming conference, hot on the heels of their peers at the Australian Directors Guild which launched its own viral campaign last week.

The SPAA Fringe viral can be viewed here, and features a cameo from The Square director Nash Edgerton and the Chauvel CInema in Sydney, while the ADG has created a YouTube channel for its video.

The SPAA Fringe video was created by Sixty40, and overseen by Matt Taylor as animation director and Mark Simpson as design director. This is the second year that Sixty40 have created a viral campaign for the Fringe conference.

The ADG video, revealed in last week’s guild newsletter, was directed by Ben West from Soma Films.
