Aussie DOP Peter Levy wins Emmy

Australian cinematographer Peter Levy ACS ASC has won an Emmy for Outstanding Cinematography For A Half-hour Series at the 60th Primetime Emmy Awards held on September 21 in Los Angeles.
Sydney-born Levy won this award for his work on the Showtime pilot series Californication, which stars David Duchovny. Levy was a recipient of the ACS Milli Award in 1991 for his work on Predator 2.
Ben Nott ACS was also nominated for an Emmy in the Outstanding Cinematography For A Miniseries Or Movie category for his work on The Company, but lost to Tak Fujimoto ASC on the HBO production, John Adams.
