AFI Award nominations announced today

[Wed 29/10/2008 08:00:03]

The Australian Film Institute will announce their 2008 award nominations to a star studded crowd in Sydney today at 12pm.

Actors Vince Colosimo, Asher Keddie and Steve Bisley will announce the nominations this year, while this year's AFI Award night host and previous winner Stephen Curry will be in attendance, warming up his lines.

This year, the AFI Awards celebrate 50 years of “pride and passion” and will be televised on the Nine Network on December 6.

INSIDEFILM will publish a full list of Award nominees after the announcement.

The AFI Awards are the annual industry-voted awards for film and television, not to be confused with our very own IF Awards which are determined by both peer and public voting in a range of feature and shorts categories.
