The INSIDEFILM website and e-newsletter was highly commended in the Best Digital Publication category at the 2008 Bell Awards on Friday November 21. In addition, the IF print magazine was named as a finalist in the B2B Magazine of the Year category.
The Bell Awards, held at the Four Seasons Hotel in Sydney, is a prestigious awards program that acknowledges the talent, expertise and outstanding achievements in the Australian publishing industry.
INSIDEFILM’s publisher, The Intermedia Group, made a sweep in eight categories while scoring a trifecta in the online category with TheShout.com.au taking the top gong, and Current.com.au as joint-runners up with IF.
Another Intermedia publication, The Production Book, was a finalist in the Best Annual Printed Publication and Directory of the Year – Electronic or Print categories; while bi-monthly aesthetics magazine Professional Beauty took top gong for the Best B2B Magazine of the Year.
The Bell Awards comprise of 33 categories and received a total 340 entries this year.
