Deluxe Australia is the new name for the former Atlab and Cinevex laboratories in Sydney, Melbourne and Auckland, New Zealand.
The facility locations have been rebranded Deluxe Sydney, Deluxe Melbourne and Deluxe Auckland. Deluxe Entertainment Services Group Inc. acquired The Atlab Group in September 2008 from Amalgamated Holdings Limited.
“The re-branding brings to fruition a longstanding strategic relationship between Deluxe and Atlab combining the best international expertise with the best in local experience. We’ll continue to offer world-class services with the same dedicated team of professionals but now with all the advantages of being part of the Deluxe family,” said Alaric McAusland, Deluxe Australia’s Managing Director.
“Atlab and Cinevex have been Australian film icons, making significant contributions to the success of the local industry over the years. We are tremendously excited about moving forward as Deluxe,” added McAusland.
Deluxe has worked with Atlab as a strategic partner on several major investments including the building of the region’s largest release printing facility in Lane Cove, Sydney, the deployment of EFILMTM digital intermediate services and most recently the launch of StageOne Sound, a brand new state-of-the-art sound mixing facility.
