Where the Wild Things Are

Shot on location in Melbourne and co-funded by Village Roadshow, Where the Wild Things Are is an upcoming 2009 film adaptation of the Maurice Sendak children's book of the same name.

The film combines live action, suitmation, animatronics, and CGI. Full post was completed by Digital Pictures, with VFX by iLoura.

The film is directed by Spike Jonze and written by Jonze and Dave Eggers, and its release is currently scheduled for October 16, 2009.
