In Beautiful Kate, a writer visits his isolated family home to say goodbye to his dying father, but memories of his beautiful twin sister awaken long buried secrets from their past. Directed by Rachel Ward, the film stars Bryan Brown (FX, Cocktail), Rachel Griffiths, Ben Mendelsohn, Sophie Lowe, Scott O'Donnell and Maeve Dermody.
Ward, also an actress best known for The Thorn Birds and Against All Odds, has previously made shorts including The Big House, Blindman's Bluff and Martha's New Coat.
