Opening night of the 27th St Kilda Film Festival was held at the Palais Theatre on May 25

A selection of the best Australian shorts, along with some international surprises featured at the event.

Some of the opening night films included Foreign Parts, GPS, On the Road to Tel-Aviv and Lizard.
