RGM Media signs deal with Fox International Productions

Singapore-based RGM Media Ltd has signed a deal with News Corporation’s Fox International Productions (FIP) to co-finance a number of films.
The partnership aims to produce and distribute local language movies for growth markets like China and India.
RGM will co-finance all FIP’s non-English language projects to create a varied range of films in different languages and genres. The deal is supported by Singapore's Media Development Authority of Singapore (MDA) and is aimed at meeting demand for local-language features in non-English speaking markets such as Brazil, Russia, Korea, Japan, China and India.
The Singapore-based company was founded by Robyn Gardiner in 1982 and is best known for co-representing high profile actors such as Cate Blanchett.
However, last year it listed on the Australian Securities Exchange, raising just over $4 million to expand into film and television produciton.
It's most high profile feature remains Point Break 2 – the sequel to the 1991 hit starring Keanu Reeves and Patrick Swayze – which was expected to go into production last year but remains in development.
