Blog Your Way to Cannes with Blockbuster

With the film award season looming, Blockbuster has commenced a search for Australia’s biggest movie buffs to find two young, talented Blockbuster Red Carpet Reporters for 2011, starting with this year’s Cannes International Film Festival.
The competition will run until the 31st March with the two winners being flown to Cannes in May on the ultimate trip to report from the red carpet, attend film premieres and gain VIP access to celebrity parties. They will go on to cover some of Australia’s biggest film events and premieres for Blockbuster throughout 2011.
The competition is open to anyone aged over 18 and to get involved, entrants should go to www.blockbustersuperblogger.com.au, create a profile and start blogging. Entrants need to create a blog which demonstrates their love of movies and talent as a budding movie reporter. They also need to show an understanding of what fellow movie buffs want to read and watch. Entrants will need to regularly post blog entries, film reviews and upload videos as part of the competition.
The top prize winners will be selected from the total pool of entrants based on the creativity, quality, popularity and dedication to their blog page.
