Short Beach: Behind the Scenes

Set in a small Australian beachside town, independent feature film Short Beach is Denise Dixon’s story. Once a strong-willed and determined young woman, Denise finds her life turned upside-down after a night of terror sees a series of vicious rumours spread around Short Beach High School and across the Beach.
Produced by Steve Jaggi and Liz Shute, the film is directed by the award-winning young filmmaker Matthias Cerwen.
Short Beach presents performances from Nikki Webster, Sarah Chadwick (The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert), Genevieve Morris (Comedy Inc.) and introduces Hilary Caitens as Denise, in her feature film debut.
Shooting at 16:9 on the RED MX, cinematographer Robert Agganis will be employing the Canon 5D for underwater sequences.
Short Beach is currently in production and is due for release next year.
