Synopsis: A small village nestled on the bank of an empty lake, beyond the mountains, hidden and isolated. Dead quiet. Until backpackers Tom, Ellie and Alf arrive. It's harvest time. There's something different about this place. Charming at first, slowly our three become aware of a strange edge. The locals are nervously accommodating, overly friendly and a little too happy to see them. When the five-year rains finally come, filling the empty lake with fresh water, the locals lock their doors and disappear. The surrounding hills echo with hungry, inhuman screeches. What follows is a night of terror in the muddy darkness, as our three travelers discover the real reason they are there
