Jameson IF Awards Sydney announces 2011 venue and date

The Jameson IF Awards Sydney will return to the Big Top at Sydney’s Luna Park this year on November 16.
This year has proved to be another impressive one for the Australian screen industry with the release of films such as Red Dog, Snowtown and Sanctum.
After the 2011 ceremony – which will be held on the last day of the Screen Producers Association of Australia conference – patrons will be ushered to the after party at Luna Park’s Crystal Palace.
The people's choice awards were last held at the iconic Luna Park waterfront venue in 2009, when director Baz Luhrmann was presented with the Living Legend IF Award.
Tickets for the 2011 Jameson IF Awards Sydney will go on sale in early-September at www.ifawards.com.
