The 2011/12 Ford Fiesta Moonlight Cinema schedule is brimming with summer’s big releases.
Blockbuster fans will be lining up for the newest installment in the hugely successful franchise Mission Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the latest escapades of super-sleuth Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows. Daniel Craig stars in the Hollywood remake of Scandinavian sensation The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo.
Based on the children’s novel and stage adaptation of the same name, Steven Spielberg’s War Horse follows the story of young Albert and his quest to save his horse Joey when he is sold to the cavalry and sent to the trenches of WWI.
There’s some great Australian fare with A Few Best Men from the makers of The Adventures of Priscilla, Queen of the Desert and starring Olivia Newton-John; and families will love Happy Feet Two and Puss in Boots from the clever folks who brought us the Shrek movies.

And the hamper-challenged needn’t despair. If the thought of whipping up a gourmet feast leaves you cold, on-site catering is on hand with a tempting selection of food and beverages.
Ticket options
Tickets are available online at moonlight.com.au or at the gate and range from $14 - $18 (booking fees apply for online bookings). A limited number of Bean Beds are also available for hire. In Brisbane gates open at 6.00pm and screenings start around 7.00pm. In Perth gates open at 6.30pm and screenings start around 8.00pm, while in Adelaide, Melbourne and Sydney gates open at 7pm with screenings at sundown, approximately 8.30pm.
