Getty Images has announced the return of the popular Mishmash Music/Video/Remix competition – the global contest which challenges creatives, filmmakers, mini-documakers and anyone with a vision or idea to create a one to three minute long short story, video art, or music video using a mix of high res video, stills and music from Getty Images.
The competition is being held worldwide, providing the opportunity for global film and industry exposure along with a US $5,000 prize for the global grand prix winner, and cash prizes for the top videos from the APAC, EMEA and Americas regions. An additional $1,000 will be awarded to the top entrant from Australia or New Zealand. A prize will also be awarded for the most popular video on the Mishmash site.
Videos can be submitted until 29 February 2012, will be judged by some of the world’s leading music and film production professionals, including Francis Coady, Director, Bondi Short Film Festival, and Steve Thomson, Creative Director of New Zealand’s Brandspank.
