After months of teasers and featurettes, a trailer for series two of the renowned HBO series Game of Thrones has hit the net.
Series two was commissioned just two days after the premiere of the show, which has received countless awards and critical acclaim.
The medieval fantasy drama, starring Sean Bean, Michelle Fairley and Mark Addy, chronicles the violent dynastic struggles among the kingdom's noble families for control of the Iron Throne.
The highly-anticipated second series of Game of Thrones starts on HBO on April 1, 2012. In Australia its shown on Showcase.
