The Cockatoo Institute, Inland NSW Film Festival and Dubbo Regional
Entertainment Arts & Music (DREAM) Festival are excited to announce the
inaugural Dubbo Festival will be held from September 7 - September 30,
2012, celebrating arts, culture, film and music in the Dubbo region.
With two weekends of fantastic films, light art installation, music
concerts, a spectacular street parade, DREAM Markets, DREAM Dance
Challenge, Zoo-Grooves, and a Family Fun Day, the Dubbo Festival will
have something for young and old alike.
There are daily air, rail and coach services to Dubbo, or it's just a few
hours' drive from the NSW coast and there are plenty of accommodation
options.
With funding assistance from Destination NSW's Regional Tourism
Partnership Funding Program and Inland NSW Tourism, the Dubbo Festival is
a collaboration by the Cockatoo Institute, which is presenting the Inland
NSW Film Festival, and DREAM Festival with the support of Taronga Western
Plains Zoo. The diverse and contemporary program will be held in some of
Dubbo's most picturesque and popular locations, showcasing Dubbo's
creative zest and world-class arts facilities.
