Northern Rivers Screenworks Regional to Global Screen Development Lab

 

Screenworks is inviting interested producers, content creators and film makers from regional NSW and Queensland to submit film, television and online production concepts for consideration for the 3 day Development Lab.

WHEN:  07/09/2012 to 10/09/2012

APPLICATION DEADLINE:  16/08/2012

Nine submissions will be selected by a panel to be part of the Development Lab where they will go on to be mentored by some of Australia's top producers. (Mentors to be announced shortly) The mentoring process will include advice on the development of production concepts and recommendations on business models and finance plans for national and international funding. Deadline for applications is 9am August 16th. As part of the Regional to Global Screen event there is also a free one day Forum to be held on Friday Sept 7th at the Byron Bay Community Centre with places for up to 110 screen practitioners. Details and registrations for this free one day event are on Screenworks website www.screenworks.com.au. Applicants to the Regional to Global Development Lab must be able to commit to the 4 day event including Friday Forum 7th Sept 2012 and the 3 day Lab 8th - 10th Sept 2012.
