IF Magazine is seeking applications for a senior editor position at the publication.
Candidates should have at least four years experience running a publication and a team of journalists/contributors.
The position will be responsible for:
- liaising with the publisher to discuss broad strategy
- liaising with the advertising manager regarding special features
- working with the IT department on website improvements and digital strategy
- writing articles
- commissioning articles
- sub-editing each print issue
- overseeing the IF website
- overseeing and teaching interns
IF Magazine is a bi-monthly print publication aimed at screen content professionals. It has an audited circulation of 4700 copies while the website IF.com.au attracts more than 100,000 page impressions each month.
