SAFC appoints Judy Potter to board

Director and consultant Judy Potter has joined the board of the South Australian Film Corporation.
She replaces Rising Sun Pictures director and cinematographer Tony Clark, who steps down after five years.
Potter, who has been apointed to the SAFC for a three-year term, is chairperson of the Adelaide Fringe Festival, Adelaide Botanic Gardens and State Herbarium, and the Adelaide Central Market Authority. She is also the director and state president of Musica Viva and the Duke of Edinburgh Awards. Since 2009, she has also been engaged by joint venture HYLC (Hansen & Yuncken - Leighton Contractors) as a consultant on the new Royal Adelaide Hospital.
SAFC Chair Cheryl Bart welcomed Potter to the board and thanked outgoing director Tony Clark.
"In his five years on the board, Tony has provided a unique industry perspective from his local and global experience. He also played a key role in the strategy and building of the Adelaide Studios. We thank him for his wise counsel and great friendship."
