St. George OpenAir Reveals 2013 Highlights

St. George OpenAir Cinema starts 2013 season program with the Australian premieres of a selection of this summer's biggest films

WHEN:  10/01/2013 to 16/02/2013

WHERE:  Mrs Macquaries Point, Sydney - adjacent to Royal Botanic Gardens

STATE:  State

COUNTRY:  AUS

St.George OpenAir Cinema gives you a taste of its extraordinary 2013 season program by announcing the Australian premieres of THE IMPOSSIBLE and THIS IS 40, and preview screenings of DJANGO UNCHAINED and LINCOLN,
along with a selection of the summer's biggest films from multi award winning directors.

In addition to the Opening Night premiere of Joe Wright's lavish ANNA KARENINA, Quentin Tarantino's latest epic DJANGO UNCHAINED stands-out
among the 14 premiere and preview screenings featured in the 2013 program.
Starring Jamie Foxx, Leonardo DiCaprio, Christoph Waltz, Kerry Washington and Samuel L. Jackson, DJANGO UNCHAINED is a magnificent homage to the
Spaghetti Western. Set in the South, two years before the Civil War, Jamie Foxx plays Django; a slave who agrees to help a bounty hunter (Waltz) track down a violent pair of fugitives in exchange for help in finding his long-lost wife.

From director Juan Antonio Bayona, St.George OpenAir Cinema brings you the
Australian premiere of THE IMPOSSIBLE starring Naomi Watts and Ewan
McGregor. An epic and emotional story, based on one family's experience of
the 2004 tsunami, THE IMPOSSIBLE is a compelling account of perseverance
and survival in the face of unimaginable disaster and chaos.

Also announced in the 2013 program is the powerful and fascinating drama
LINCOLN, directed by Steven Spielberg, starring Daniel Day-Lewis and
Joseph Gordon-Levitt, and the Australian premiere of THIS IS 40, the
latest comedy from director Judd Apatow, starring Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann,
John Lithgow and Megan Fox.

The 2013 program will also feature an outstanding selection of the summer's major releases, as well as some of 2012's best niche films including PITCH PERFECT, THE PERKS OF BEING A WALLFLOWER, ARGO, SEVEN PSYCHOPATHS, and THE SESSIONS.
