Natalie Miller Fellowship Fundraising Screenings: GREAT EXPECTATIONS By Mike New

The Natalie Miller Fellowship (NMF) is pleased to announce that it will be hosting three advance screenings of the epic drama Great Expectations, directed by Mike Newell and starring Helena Bonham Carter and Ralph Fiennes in Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The screenings aim to raise funds for the prestigious Fellowship set up in honour of Natalie Miller OAM, AO’s outstanding contribution to the Australian screen industry.
The funds raised from the special screenings will contribute to the annual grant of $10,000 which the Natalie Miller Fellowship awards to a woman who has demonstrated initiative, entrepreneurship and excellence working in the Australian screen industries. The grant is intended to assist women financially in pursuing professional development in their fields through attachments, internships, secondments, travel and other means.
The fundraising screenings will be held at Hoyts Cinemas across Sydney, Melbourne and Perth. The Natalie Miller Fellowship’s Patron, Australian actress Claudia Karvan will host the Sydney preview, as well as introduce NMF’s inaugural recipient, Rachel Okine. Sue Maslin will host the Melbourne screening with keynote speeches by Carol Schwartz, one of Australia’s leading business identities and Chair of Creative Partnerships Australia and Natalie Miller OAM AO.
