Word is beginning to spread around the industry of Peter Rasmussen’s tragic death last week.
Formerly a cinematographer, after the effects of a rare eye disease began to take their toll he had focussed on writing, with credits including James Bogle’s feature In the Winter Dark.
More recently he authored the world’s first feature length Machinima animation, which has been highly awarded internationally.
Always ready to help, Peter was much loved and respected for his often free contributions to many projects as a script editor and otherwise. He was a man of both impeccable integrity and professionalism.
The funeral will take place at 11am, Castlebrook Memorial Gardens in Kellyville (off Windsor Road), this Thursday 20 March.
Wake is to follow from 1pm at the Green Park Hotel, corner of Victoria and Burton Streets in Darlinghurst.
