In what promises to be a night of both celebration and hilarity, comedian and television personality Claire Hooper will host the annual Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Awards on Friday May 2 at the Powerhouse Museum in Sydney.
Claire will host the ADG Awards ceremony at the Powerhouse’s Cole Theatre with a sit down dinner to follow in the Museum’s atmospheric Turbine Hall.
More than 300 guests are expected to attend the Awards, including many of Australia’s best directors of film, television and commercials.
Nominees in the 16 Award categories are to be announced in mid April with judging by panels of industry peers currently underway.
Tickets are now on sale for the Awards. Earlybird tickets are available until April 11. Earlybird tickets for Awards Ceremony and Dinner are $120 for ADG Members and $135 for non-ADG Members. After April 11, tickets for Awards Ceremony and Dinner are $135 for ADG Members and $155 for non-ADG Members. Ceremony-only tickets are available or $35.
