Call for Entries - 2013 ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards

 

Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA) has opened entries to its 2013 ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards

Australian Subscription Television and Radio Association (ASTRA), the subscription TV (STV) industry’s peak body, has opened entries to its 2013 ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards. 

Recognising excellence in the promotion of the subscription television industry, winners will be chosen from nine categories and announced at the ASTRA Conference taking place on Thursday March 14 at the Sydney Convention and Exhibition Centre. The ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards recognise individuals, channels and agencies creating ground breaking and innovative campaigns within the Australian STV industry.

All award submissions must be received by 4PM on Monday, 17 December 2012.

Petra Buchanan, CEO of ASTRA said, “Creativity and innovation are the mainstays of the subscription television industry in Australia. ASTRA’s Industry Excellence Awards seek to provide recognition to the talented marketing and communications professionals and the creative campaigns generated in the STV industry.”

The 2012 ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards categories are:

•ƒnMost Outstanding Use of Subscription Television for a Consumer Advertising Campaign
•ƒnMost Outstanding On-Air Program Promotion

•ƒnMost Outstanding Channel Image Spot
•ƒnMost Outstanding Multimedia Promotion
•ƒnMost Outstanding PR/Communications Campaign
•ƒnMost Outstanding Marketing Campaign Under $50,000
•ƒnMost Outstanding Use of Technology

The ASTRA Industry Excellence Awards are judged by a panel of senior STV marketing specialists.

Judges review each entry and assess its merits based on the strength of the campaign strategy, implementation, results and creativity.

The 2013 Conference will highlight opinion from leaders across the industry, allow for discussion and debate through a combination of panel and break-out sessions and provide networking opportunities at the Women in Television breakfast, lunch and cocktail functions.
