Fifteen film and TV projects win $2.4 million in funding

Fifteen film, TV and online projects will share in $2.43 million funding through Film Victoria's Assigned Production Investment – Film & Television program.

The program funds between 3-10 per cent of a project and is generally capped at $500,000.

The funding has been provided as Assigned Production Investment where Film Victoria's equity, copyright and recoupment position is assigned to the producer.

Television recipients include Offspring (season 6), Nowhere Boys (series 3), You're Skitting Me, House Husbands (series 5) and The Wrong Girl.

Film Features include Dating Tales and Trip for Biscuits.

Documentaries to recieve funding include Gurrumul Elcho Dreaming, The 12 Year Diaries, Digilante, Date My Race, Motorkite dreaming and Seidler – Brutal or Beautiful?

Film Victoria is also helping to increase the depth of Victorian screen industry practitioners by re-establishing the Professional Attachments program. 

Producers with API funding requests of $150,000 or more will be required to allocate 2.5 per cent of the Film Victoria investment amount within the budget to fund a professional attachment opportunity on the production
