Melanie Jayne wins AiF’s 2016 Village Roadshow-Animal Logic internship

Sydney's Melanie Jayne is the winner of the 2016 Village Roadshow Entertainment Group and Animal Logic Entertainment Internship, valued at $20,000.

Jayne is a graduate of Sydney University and Sydney Film School, and will spend  her three-month placement in the LA offices of both Village Roadshow and Animal Logic.

The internship is awarded to film business undergraduate students and recent graduates who demonstrate significant potential in their area of expertise.

"I am excited to have been offered this internship and cannot wait to commence what will be an enlightening and inspiring experience", Jayne said.

"I look forward to making the most of the opportunity to build upon my skills, knowledge and networks for a future career in film”.

The internship was launched in 2014 as part of AIF’s mission to serve as a bridge between the US and Australian screen industries. 

Applications for the 2017 placement will open mid year.
