New ADG chapter head in SA

Heather-Jean Moyes has stepped down as the Australian Directors Guild (ADG) Chapter Head in South Australia, succeeded by Dave De Vries.

Dave is a long standing member of the ADG. He has written, directed, edited and produced Carmilla Hyde, a 102 minute Jekyll & Hyde revenge thriller. This feature is currently screening in film festivals all over the globe and has begun distributing in Europe. To date it has won nine awards.

Dave is also co-producing the pilot of a doco/drama comedy television series about wine called Suck it and See, which he will direct, and has recently completed writing and directing the pilot of an animated children's television series which he co-created.

He has also written a number of live action and animation scripts for such film and television companies as; Crawfords, Viskatoons, Energee Entertainment, Artist Services, the Children's Television Foundation and LA producers Adelson Entertainment.

Dave is the course coordinator of the Advance Production Projects for the Third Year Film & Television students at UniSA. He is also the Festival Director for the Barossa Film Festival
