Pacific Film and Television (PFTC) Director Phil McDonald has released the following statement regarding the resignation of Robin James from the position of CEO, PFTC:
“Robin James has decided to resign from his position as CEO of the PFTC to pursue other career opportunities, effective 31 March 2009.
Mr James has denied recent allegations made against him and resigned to ensure that the matter did not further impact upon himself or PFTC. No decision has been made by PFTC in relation to Mr James' employment.
PFTC will carry on with its role in initiating, facilitating and celebrating a sustainable, creative film industry. In the interim, Michael Cullinan, CFO, will be acting CEO. PFTC will begin the recruitment process for a new CEO in the coming weeks.”
