Joining the Revelation Board is Perth based independent producer Liz Kearney. Fresh from the successful screening at Cannes of her first feature The Final Hours, Liz has previously produced short films and a chapter of the Tim Winton adapted book The Turning. Liz is currently in post production on her second feature Paper Planes – a children’s film starring Sam Worthington and Ed Oxenbould, produced with Robert Connolly and Maggie Miles.
The board will also welcome director, writer, producer and visual artist, Claire McCarthy. Claire’s feature film, The Waiting City starring Radha Mitchell and Joel Edgerton premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival in 2010 film and was nominated for three Film Critics Circle Awards, an ADG award and won two IF Awards. Currently Claire is writing and directing a project for twice Academy Award nominated actress Viola Davis with producers Su Armstrong and Brian Rosen.

"With Liz and Claire now acting as part of the board, we're able to tackle the great opportunities and challenges the industry has to offer with a formidable and largely new board."
Revelation Perth International Film Festival returns for its seventeenth season from 3-13 July 2014.
