Possible Worlds brings horror to Sydney

[press release from Dean Bertram]

A Night of Horror International Film Festival is proud to announce the Australian premiere of STUCK, taking place as part of Possible Worlds Canadian Film Festival. STUCK is the latest film from cult director Stuart Gordon (RE-ANIMATOR, FROM BEYOND, EDMOND).

Starring Mena Suvari (AMERICAN BEAUTY) and Stephen Rea (V FOR VENDETTA), STUCK is a darkly comic, bloody thriller for our times. Based on a shocking true story; a homeless man is hit by a nurse and becomes trapped in her car windshield. The nurse drives home with the promise of helping the injured man, but instead leaves him to die in her garage.

The New York Times asserts: “STUCK is exceptional because its characters feel like real people plunged into a disorienting situation in which they behave like monsters.”

The premiere of STUCK takes place at Dendy Opera Quays, on Sunday November 30 at 8:30pm. Tickets available from www.moshtix.com.au or call 1300 GET TIX (438 849). Tickets will also be available at the door.
