Another helping of Secrets & Lies?

Hoodlum Entertainment is developing a second series of murder mystery Secrets & Lies.

Hoodlum's Tracey Robertson told IF that she and Stephen M. Irwin, who created the drama, are working on ideas for a second season.

Network Ten is yet to greenlight another series. The big reveal in the final episode aired on Monday nigtht attracted 413,000 viewers in the five capital cities, a big jump over last week’s 315,000, and 556,000 nationally.

The OzTam ratings show the March 31 episode had an aggregate audience of 392,000 in the metros (24.5% bigger than the overnight figure) and 539,000 nationally, and 114,000 watched the repeat. Ten said there were a further 200,000 views on catch-up service tenplay in the past seven days.

The Nine Network's Love Child ended on a winning note on Monday night, drawing 1.277 million viewers in the metros and 1.78 million nationally.

The March 31 episode of the Playmaker Media-produced drama had an aggregate audience of 1.522 million in the metros, 20% bigger than the overnight figure.

Production of series 2 of Love Child, set in 1970, starts in May.
