Deadhouse Films has formalised its relationship with producer and hair and makeup artist Helen Tuck, who has joined the company as a producer.
Tuck is currently working with the company on two features – It Will Find You, directed by Deadhouse founder Enzo Tedeschi and writer/director Chris Broadbent, currently in the final stages of post-production, and Tedeschi’s CGI-heavy sci-fi thriller Resonance.
Her previous producing credits include a segment in the Shudder Original feature Scare Package II and the short film Over The Edge. She was also an assistant production coordinator on the Shudder Original Series Deadhouse Dark, which Tedeschi created.
Tuck’s hair and makeup career spans more than 60 titles across both independent and major studio productions, including Thor: Love and Thunder, The Fall Guy, Talk To Me, and Furiosa.
She said joining Deadhouse Films as producer was not only a personal milestone but felt like a “natural evolution after years of collaboration”.
“I’m so excited to take on the strategic expansion of our slate to embrace diverse genres that challenge and captivate audiences, while maintaining the distinctive voice and high production value audiences expect from us,” she said.
Tedeschi, who founded Deadhouse Films a decade ago to produce quality genre content with international appeal, said Tuck brought a fresh perspective that he expected to be a “shot-in-the-arm” for the business.
“She has a keen eye for story and talent, and her dual background in both the creative and production sides of filmmaking gives her a unique advantage,” he said.
” Having already collaborated with Helen many times, I’ve seen firsthand how her passion and expertise elevate every project she touches. As we look to expand, Helen’s vision will be instrumental in writing the company’s next chapter”.
