AFTRS 50th Anniversary 35mm Film Screening Program
March 28 - November 28
As part of its 50th anniversary celebrations, AFTRS will screen a series of acclaimed feature films directed by AFTRS alumni, beginning with Phillip Noyce’s Dead Calm at 6.30pm on March 28. The screening will also feature a special video introduction from Noyce.
Each film in this series was directed by an AFTRS alumnus and almost all feature alumni in key creative roles including producers, cinematographers, editors, production designers, and costume designers.
In partnership with the National Film and Sound Archive (NFSA), the films in this program will be presented entirely on 35mm prints borrowed from the archive.
