Castlemaine Documentary Festival

Castlemaine Documentary Festival (C-Doc) is held in regional Victoria on Dja Dja Wurrung country, celebrating the connection between filmmakers, films and audiences and the lure of documentary storytelling.
Now in its eighth year, the event is held in the Theatre Royal in Castlemaine, mainland Australia’s oldest continuously operating cinema.
Sunday 3 July coincides with NAIDOC Week, with the program to include Bill Code’s The Lake Of Scars, with the director a special guest of the festival with Uncle Jack Charles and Ngarra Murray.
Other guests include Jeff Daniels, the Australian director of Television Event.
