Heart of Gold International Film Festival program “bigger and better than ever”

Press release from AUM

The 2011 Heart of Gold International Film Festival program is complete!

After receiving hundreds of entries, the Heart of Gold International Film Festival Director Malcolm Blaylock has created a magical collection of comedies, dramas, animations and documentaries certain to entertain and inspire.

With nearly 200 of the world’s best short films scheduled – along with special events, forums and industry workshops – the 2011 Heart of Gold program is bigger and better than ever!

With the program now confirmed, it is time to celebrate! The Heart of Gold Int’l Film Festival program will be launched at 6pm–8pm on Thursday 17th February at the Gympie Civic Centre.

Everyone is invited to attend the free celebration, grab a program, pick up a poster and book tickets for any session throughout the festival. Don’t miss this great opportunity to meet with friends and plan your 2011 Heart of Gold festival movie itinerary.

Everyone who attends this special event will also be treated to a sneak peek at one of the most loved films in this year’s program.

Audiences around the world have raving about The Postcard (La Carte) – a delightful French animation short that tells the story a young man living in a coloured postcard who falls in love with a young woman living in a black and white postcard. He is ready to do anything to join her and stay with her.
