Synopsis Friends for Life is a stop motion animated true-crime feature set in Los Angeles around the 2000s about two elderly women, driven by a shared sense of invisibility, resentment, and greed, who become serial killers, targeting homeless men for life insurance payouts–forcing us to confront the desperate lengths people will go to be seen.
