Synopsis: In 1958, a skinny Indigenous 7-year-old peered through the wire fence of the Barellan tennis courts, longing to play the sport she instinctively knew was her game. That longing would drive her to become the world’s number one female tennis player, and one of Australia’s most loved sportswomen, winning 14 Grand Slam titles including Wimbledon twice, and overcoming harassment from her coach, recovery from childbirth, and injury to defeat her great rival and be the world number one.
