Jac Clark joins Magna Systems and Engineering

PRESS RELEASE

Digital media specialist Jac Clark has joined Magna Systems and Engineering as Digital Solutions Manager.

Clark was previously with Klotz Digital where he was responsible for the UI and logic behind the routing for major radio organisations including Austereo, the ABC and Macquarie Radio and Foxtel where as an SI engineer he was responsible for in-depth channel branding solutions, software development and maintenance and was heavily involved in the company’s Broadband Content Management System (BCMS). Most recently Clark was an Infrastructure as a Service Engineer (IAAS) for web hosting provider Ultra Serve where he specialised in Linux and VMware deployment and configuration.

As Digital Solutions Manager for Magna Systems Clark will be focusing on growing the company’s Software as a Service (SAAS) products and support services.

Magna Systems and Engineering Group Engineering Manager Barry Pegg said, “Jac brings a very valuable skill set to Magna. We are expanding rapidly in the SAAS areas within broadcast and broadcast related fields as well as in the medical, education and government spaces. Jac will be expanding our CMS and MAM offerings at a time where data and data management is becoming ever more critical.”

Jac Clark added, “There are some real opportunities for forward thinking companies like Magna Systems who can deliver solutions to major organisations that require asset storage, management and delivery often across vast distances. Magna is also expanding its cloud and virtualisation services and products so we can offer efficient solutions with a clever use of software. We’re also looking at mobile streaming technology and making the most of products like BridgeTech probes for monitoring OTT solutions and Cambridge Imaging’s Imagen for effective media asset management. It’s an exciting time for Magna Systems and our clients and I’m delighted to be a part of it.”
