Last year's winning webseries of MOVIE EXTRA WEBFEST, Henry & Aaron's 7 Steps to Superstardom was chosen from over 100 submissions to Facebook
and attracted over 16,000 fans. The webseries went live on www.youtube.com/mnctv in June and has achieved over 69,000 views since the premiere.

MOVIE EXTRA WEBFEST also proved to be fertile creative ground for MOVIE EXTRA who commissioned three additional entrants webseries. Livin with
Steve, Shaaark! and Mollusks were identified as compelling online and digital content which Movie Network Channels sought to foster and further develop ready for a September 2011 premiere.

Online content initiatives allow Movie Network Channels to expand its digital footprint explains Peter Jenetsky, General Manager of Content Strategy & Marketing for Movie Network Channels "we are now entering a decade of 'platform polygamy' where consumers are readily engaging with internet and mobile video platforms as well as social networks to seek, discover, and engage with content and brands. It is therefore vital to our continuing product development strategies to embrace and explore new platforms and relevant content creation opportunities.

MOVIE EXTRA WEBFEST 2.0 is a unique digital and creative content programme. It provides aspiring producers a fantastic opportunity to not only receive funding for their projects, but to also build and hone skills in production and digital media."
