Movie Extra Webfest-winning series premieres on YouTube

Press Release from NIX Co

The inaugural MOVIE EXTRA WEBFEST winners, Henry Inglis and Aaron McCann were chosen from over 100 submissions to the competitions Facebook page, which attracted over 13,700 fans. They received a $50,000 production budget and post production services to produce the seven part webseries for MOVIE EXTRA.

Henry & Aaron's 7 Steps to Superstardom will premiere on the Movie Network Channels YouTube channel www.youtube.com/mnctv. It can be seen here. MOVIE EXTRA WEBFEST is an initiative by Movie Network Channels to embrace social networks and online video platforms to actively engage new audiences and drive branded content discovery.

Commissioned specifically for Movie Network Channels branded online video platforms, Henry & Aaron's 7 Steps to Superstardom follows two clueless best friends Henry & Aaron, on their quest for fame and fortune, led by their insane producer Danny Danielson, who provides them with awful advice on how to become international superstars, at any cost. The show is a dynamic, hilarious and inventive trip through popular culture and suburban life. The premiere webisode Adopt Foreign Orphans sees Henry excitedly preparing for impending fatherhood, but Aaron struggles with his loss of freedom.

The webseries will guest star Australian comedy veteran Peter Rowsthorn (Kath & Kim and MOVIE EXTRA series The Jesters: Season 2), Ben Sutton (Diggy Bones, The Big Hoo Ha) and Benj D'Addario who recently starred as The Ugly One opposite Gemma Ward in her international stage debut.
