NAB Show: World’s first 3D Post-Production virtual system launches

Press release from Intensikey

IntensiKey, the world’s first fully 3D post-production virtual set system, was released today at the NAB Show in Las Vegas. A first for the industry, intensiKey allows users to chroma key their footage into a true 3D virtual set with integrated camera moves during post-production.

IntensiKey merges seamlessly into a user’s existing workflow to create true 3D virtual set animations from green screen footage without the hassle, complexity and expense of complicated 2D or 3D compositing programs. IntensiKey is the first true 3D post-production virtual set system created for everyday videographers. The software is easy-to-use, customizable, and affordable, and supports industry-standard resolutions.

“We developed intensiKey to fulfill user demand for true 3D functionality when integrating green screen talent into a virtual set during the post-production process,” said Eric Pratt, CEO of intensiKey. “I’m thrilled to bring these game-changing features to my customers and enable even an average user access to true 3D capabilities.”

IntensiKey software is incredibly versatile, complimenting any editing program. Users simply load their footage, add a B source and camera moves, select the desired output format, and render. The footage is ready to go straight to the internet, into a user’s editing program of choice, or anywhere else common video file formats are used.

“I have worked with many virtual studios in the past, but intensiKey is different. It is a virtual 3D engine,” said Mark Harrigan, Director of IT at Palm Partners Recovery Center. “You simply bring in your un-keyed talent, key frame, and then output. I was an expert within an hour – it’s that easy to use.”
