Ambience Entertainment has announced its move to the ABC’s Studio 26 television production facility in Artarmon, Sydney.
In 2014, the company produced more than 200 hours of highly popular television. The new studio will provide the space and flexibility for increased production boasting a 700m2 soundstage with motorised pulley, adjustable truss lighting grids, production offices, dressing rooms, wardrobe and laundry facilities on site.
“The move is perfectly timed as we have several series in production and pre-production across Preschool and Children’s entertainment. We are also moving into television drama to complement our strong feature film repertoire ” says Matthew Street, MD of Ambience Entertainment.
This year Ambience is developing new productions whilst continuing production of returning series; Magical Tales, Jay’s Jungle, Move It!, Kitchen Whiz and Flushed.
Ambience Entertainment was founded in 1989 and is an award winning production company and industry leader. Specialising in features, game shows, children’s programming and, more recently, drama.
Feature films include KILLER ELITE, TOMORROW WHEN THE WAR BEGAN, THE LOVED ONES and DYING BREED.
Children’s programs include JAY’S JUNGLE, KITCHEN WHIZ, MOVE IT, MAGICAL TALES, SURPRISES, FLUSHED, THE ADVENTURES OF FIGARO PHO, ERKY PERKY, PYRAMID, LARRY THE LAWNMOWER, WHAT DO YOU KNOW? and SHARKY’S FRIENDS.
