Press release from Well Above

At DesignEX 2010, Australia’s premier design and architecture event, JVC Commercial Products will be exhibiting and demonstrating its widest range of products to date.
According to JVC Commercial Products National Sales and Marketing Manager Noel Oakes the show is a major investment and opportunity for the company. “DesignEx consistently attracts a very high calibre of attendee that include Architects, Interior Designers, Specifiers, Shop fitters, AV Consultants, AV Installers and Security Experts. For this year’s show we have really pulled out all the stops and we will be showcasing our very latest state of the art technology and products.”

High on the list of desirable products are JVC’s new range of Ultra Thin 32-inch LCD displays. This next generation Ultra Thin LCD technology integrates a new optical system and modular LCD construction making it the company’s thinnest and lightest LCD television display at just 7mm thick and weighing just 5kg. The Ultra Thin full HD LCD monitor has applications for home, shops, business, art galleries, museums, academic institutions, surveillance and medical reference. Input terminals include HDMI, analogue-RGB, RS-232C, USB and supports SD/SDHC memory cards. Critically, these LCD’s feature support for the Adobe RGB colour space standard, making them ideal for the display of professional photography, medical images and artwork.

Also featured are JVC’s DLA-HD550 and DLA-HD950 home theatre projectors that use JVC’s industry award-winning, proprietary D-ILA technology. The DLA-HD550 achieves 30,000:1 native contrast ratio and a brightness of 1,000 lumens with a highly efficient lamp and has a user-customisable gamma control for free control of gradation expression. The DLA-HD950 achieves an amazing 50,000:1 native contrast ratio and utilises a high-performance 2X zoom lens with motorised focus featuring a large diameter all-glass lens system that includes 17 elements in 15 groups, including ED lenses.

Another star of the show will be JVC’s 46-inch 3D LCD screen. The GD-463D10 is only 39mm thick and uses JVC’s unique high-quality 3D visual engine to deliver a natural, flicker-free visual experience. The GD-463D10 provides flicker-free 3D images by adopting the Xpol® polarizing filter method and battery-free passive-type circular polarizing filter glasses. Video input is compatible with industry standard line-by-line and side-by-side 3D formats.

Continuing the monitor theme JVC will be demonstrating their latest range of digital signage monitors including the GM-420S, GM-470S and GM-520S models. Each of these unique monitors offers an ultra bright image perfect for well-illuminated locations and are designed for many years of 24/7 operation.

Moving towards the acquisition side of the range JVC will be displaying and demonstrating some of the more high-end and award winning camcorders from their consumer division including the GZ-MS215, GZ-HM330, GZ-HD620 and GZ-HM550. This range of JVC camcorders feature a new advanced image stabiliser, automatic recording, time-lapse recording and excellent low light performance without losing colour. Truly stand-apart performers in the market the JVC camcorders need to be experienced to fully appreciate their quality.

Taking care of the security and surveillance side of the business will be the JVC range of cameras and recorders. The latest JVC surveillance cameras TK-C9200E, TK-C9301EG, TK-C9300E, TK-C9301EG, TK-C2201E and TK-C2201WPE now feature increased reliability, durability and low light colour performance. Complimenting the cameras will be the JVC VR-N900U and VR-N1600U surveillance recorders. These 9 and 16 channel surveillance recorders are suitable for both analogue and IP security cameras.

Noel Oakes concluded, “We welcome all attendees to not only have a look at our products but to fully experience them. There will be some seriously clever equipment on display and with the range of applications now including 3D, this takes them to a whole new level.”

JVC will be on stand 555 at the DesignEx 2010 show which runs from 22-24 April 2010 at the Darling Harbour Conference and Exhibition Centre.
