New line-up for ABC News 24

ABC News 24, the most-watched news channel in Australia, has unveiled a refreshed weekday line-up across afternoons and evenings.

From Monday March 9 the ABC News 24 schedule will be consistent Monday to Friday with a regular schedule of news, current affairs, sport and business.

Anchoring the line-up in the evening is current affairs flagship Lateline, which will premiere live on ABC News 24 at 9:30pm AEDT (and again on ABC TV at 10:30pm local time).

The refreshed schedule strengthens business and sport coverage across the day, with The Business and Grandstand running as 15-minute editions in the afternoon and evening.

Due to audience demand, The Drum also returns to an earlier timeslot of 6:30pm (AEDT).
