A stellar documentary line-up heads SBS Content Sales’ offering for MIPTV and MIPDOC 2009.

Acclaimed titles include the landmark documentary series, First Australians – which chronicles the cultural collision that marked the birth of contemporary Australia – as well as diverse factual storytelling in The Nest, The Miscreants and Best

Also on offer are SBS’s hit comedy series, Swift and Shift Couriers, and series three of the perennially engaging lifestyle program, Food Safari. In all, SBS will showcase 19 compelling new programs at the international television market.

“The depth and broad appeal of SBS’s 2009 MIPTV and MIPDOC slate are exceptional,” said SBS Content Sales and Distribution National Manager, Sharon Ramsay-Luck.

“We are proud to introduce international buyers to new programs that are compelling, informative engaging and entertaining – as demonstrated by their success when broadcast in Australia.”

Kristin Burgham, Manager of SBS Content Sales, will be showcasing these titles at MIPDOC and MIPTV.
