Scott Free’s Amal Baggar joins Screen Queensland

Amal Baggar will join Screen Queensland as its new VP of Development and Production beginning this month.

Baggar joins SQ from Los Angeles where she's worked for Scott Free Productions for eight years as both VP and as a creative executive overseeing film production and development. Baggar's credits include Concussion, starring Will Smith, which she co-produced. 

She also worked for Creative Artists Agency in LA as the executive assistant to motion picture literary agents, Tory Metzger and Maha Dakhil.

"The international experience, intel and contacts that Amal brings to this role will be of huge benefit to our local practitioners including her know-how on how to make a commercially successful production with international appeal."
