SLR Productions today confirmed Australia’s Cartoon Network will have the second television broadcast window of the company’s live action series, Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures.
The series was green-lighted for production earlier this year following investment from Network Ten, ZDF Enterprises, Screen Australia, South Australian Film Corporation and KOJO.
Executive Producer and CEO of SLR Productions, Suzanne Ryan said, “I am thrilled to have Cartoon Network as one of our premiere broadcast partners alongside Network Ten for the Australian broadcast. Layla Lewis, Director of Programming, Acquisitions & Development, Turner International Asia Pacific, added, “We are really pleased to be involved with this action-packed comedy adventure. ‘Sam Fox: Extreme Adventures’ will bring even more fantastic adrenalin-filled storylines to Cartoon Network Australia's already exciting line-up.”
The 26 x 24-minute series for 8-12 year olds will premiere first on Network Ten and then Cartoon Network in Australia with international distribution by ZDF Enterprises. The series will be produced in South Australia utilising the brand new world-class film studios at the South Australian Film Corporation.
