The Western Australian Production Attraction Incentive is one of a range of financial incentives in place to attract world-class productions to Western Australia. Incentives also include the Western AustralianRegional Screen Fund and the Western Australian Post-Production, Digital and Visual Effects (PDV) Incentive.
When combined with Australian Federal Government incentives, Western Australia offers a minimum 40% Production Attraction Incentive (10% State incentive) and a 50% PDV Incentive (20% State incentive).
These investments demonstrate the Western Australian Government’s commitment to growing the local screen industry and establishing the State as a major national and international screen production destination.
Western Australia’s production attraction incentives are managed by Screenwest, Western Australia’s screen funding body. Screenwest offers competitive incentives, locations assistance and grant funding to support the development and production of screen projects in Western Australia.
